Is remarkable by their paintings murals and, due to them, it is known like Bonampak (painted walls). The monumental center forms three sets, in which the public life of the place was developed and resided the class leader. In the great Seat and the stairs that lead to the Acropolis there are several wakes in which adorned personages see themselves rich, perhaps his governors.

Famous by its three quarters by paintings moral, best conserved and the important ones that they are known classic the Mayan. The paintings narrate a single history one of the quarters show the ceremony of presentation on the part of the governing family, in that same quarter, is observed the scene of the procession of the musicians. And the second quarter recreates the battle and the later presentation and its suplicio of the captives, and in the third quarter the celebration imagines and the victory: it is seen the governors of Bonampak luxuriously adorned and a group of musicians touching sonajas, drums and turtlebacks. Bonampak is taken care of by Lacandones, reason why we will be able to know them...

Located to the margin of the Usumacinta River, prototype of a city loss in the forest. It is remarkable by the great amount of stone sculptures that include wakes and thresholds. It was originated as a small village does around 2000 years, with the passage of time I transform myself into one of the most powerful cities of the river basin of the Usumacinta. Its surface is very extensive but the visit is restricted to the part of the great Acropolis, the small Acropolis and the South Acropolis, to first 19 building or labyrinth is acceded through.

In several of the constructions still are the thresholds that narrate the dynastic history of the city.
