Famous by its three quarters by paintings moral, best conserved and the important ones that they are known classic the Mayan. Yaxchilán

Yaxchilán

Located to the margin of the Usumacinta River, prototype of a city loss in the forest. It is remarkable by the great amount of stone sculptures that include wakes and thresholds. It was originated as a small village does around 2000 years, with the passage of time I transform myself into one of the most powerful cities of the river basin of the Usumacinta. Its surface is very extensive but the visit is restricted to the part of the great Acropolis, the small Acropolis and the South Acropolis, to first 19 building or labyrinth is acceded through.
